Since I haven't been on birth control in a while, the first time we had sex I used the Plan B (Morning after pill), the following weekend we ended up using a condom and he morning afterwards I noticed I was bleeding a bit, and a little sore in my abdomen. I then started my period 2 weeks early and I figured it was from the Plan B I had taken a week earlier, I realize that it can sometimes cause you to start your period. Well now this last weekend we had sex again, using a condom and was fine for the next morning, but the following morning I started getting this pain in my abdomen and started bleeding again a bit, what is going on with me? I've never had issues like this before. We are both clean for STDs and it doesn't actually hurt while we're having sex. I thought at first I might be allergic to the latex condoms, but I have no allergic symptoms. Could we be too rough? Thanks in advance.

Being sore after sex seems common enough, lets face it, an activity that involves punching something very big (leave a guy his delusions) and hard into soft tissue is bound to cause some grief.
But bleeding? That sounds more serious. Sore as in bruised or as in stretched muscles might happen, but bleeding should not. If it is not your period then you should not bleed especially not from sex.

If sex isn't hurting while you do it, you're probably not bleeding from the "rough" sex. I'm about to describe my own situation here, but please bear with me because it sounds almost identical to yours =] I take birth control pills regularly, but a few weeks ago my bf finished inside me (the first time he'd ever come inside a girl, because he's terrified I might get pregnant--go figure.) Afterwards he was quite paranoid about it, so to calm his fears I went and got the morning-after pill (Plan B) and took that as well, more as a psychological thing for him than anything else. This is what happened: I got my period a week earlier than I was supposed to, while I was still taking "active" hormone pills from that month's birth control pack. I kept taking my pills on schedule, my period lasted the 3-4 days it usually does, and I figured that was that and that my period had just come early. Not quite. At the end of that week I got to the inactive "sugar" pills in my pack and I started bleeding again. Basically, I had another complete (3-4 day) period of bleeding the week after I had the first period. Like you, I was pretty confused about this, so I read the Plan B insert over again and noticed from the data they give that about 26% of women have some kind of menstrual irregularity after taking Plan B--periods heavier, lighter, early, and/or late.My cycle is now back to normal, so I'm pretty sure what happened to both of us is that the extra dose of hormones screwed our cycles up. The second "period" would, I think, be the body trying to get back to its habitual menstruation pattern. Just to be safe, get tested for pregnancy and talk to your healthcare professional if you're still concerned about this. Please feel free to PM me if you want any further details on this...
