Flowers are romantic. If you do not want her to think you are being romantic then do not get her flowers.
If you want to just stay friends then a hug will be fine, anything else might make her think you want more and may freak her out.
Why do you want to do something so special for her? If you have a good reason then get other people involved and make one of those signs with her name on it to meet her in arrivals at the airport / train station. But go to town on it and use glitter, then take everyone along to welcome her home.
She'll feel loved and touched by all her friends.
Good Luck!! xx
