So now, I've been asked out by a guy who is maybe a little bit shorter than me. I'm wondering if he perhaps hasn't noticed my height, and if he'll reject me when he does? I am usually attracted to guys who are taller than me, but there are few of them around, and this guy is really handsome and intelligent and funny...I'm just worried my height will put him off. What do you think?

Yes, some guys won't even consider a girl who isn't at least a few inches shorter than they are. My full adult height is 6'2 (188 cm), and my wife is just short of 5'10 (178 cm). I have always preferred tall women. I thought about the height question when I was much younger and decided that I wouldn't want my partner to be too much taller than I am - maybe up to 6'5 (196 cm) or so.
And, it always looked like the short guys could have a LOT of fun slow-dancing with the really tall girls!

I love tall girls!! And so do many other men. Some guys will feel intimidated, but a lot won't. Just try not to worry. If this guy is shorter than you, he's probably worried that you won't fancy him because of that.

but i dont think its a turn off coz guys mostly care about how girls would feel being with a shorter guy
guys love to be in control :D and the height can pretty much give that impression
