writes:Hey everyone I'm 17 years old and I'm very depressed well here's the story...Me and my gf have been going out for 11 months and well my parents and my whole family know her .. I take her to family events everything! She doesn't even live it at her nome any more she lives with me and well she's with me 24/7 and she doesn't care about herself like hygene wise.. she brushes her teeth about once every 3 days, hardly showers but here's the thing she goes to college she lives there, she visits me from friday-monday, sleeps at my house, everything and when she's in college she always takes a shower 2x a day brushes teeth 3x a day and puts on flashy clothes and everything.. and when she's with me from friday - monday she always wears my soccer shorts and my shirt.. and I don't know what's up with her ? Is there possibly someone on the side??And another thing is. Her mom always invites her to go eat , birthdays , and etc.. and my gf never tells me do you want to go? She just gets ready and says ill be back and I confronted her about this and said are you ashamed of me? She said "no silly its cause my parents don't let me take you" and I'm like ok its cool..And turns out her ex bf lived in her parents home for 3 months and they only went out 4 months!!! And her other ex was always at her house, he slept over, etc.. and me I can't even go on they're block !! My gf gets all pissed!!! And well I'm very nice to my gf , respectfull, and her ex's she even tells me they were "gangsters" rude and abusive.. and well I just want to get your guys opinion on what could be happening.. sorry for this very long story as you can see it's eating me up.. btw she got invited to a birthday right now and she's about to leave ..(sorry for all the bad grammer etc..) btw my gf is 18

reader, anonymous, writes (28 March 2009): think you are the comfortable thing - thats all. she finds you a bit like a saturday is to the rest of the week - somwhere to relax after a hard days mon to friday grind.
because of this comfort she doenst make an effort.
talk to her.
ask her why you dont go out more?
