With a guy? Most likely something more. Depends a bit on the circumstances but if you walk in hand in hand. Well you do that with a parent, child, partner. Someone you want to know. I am here beside you for no reason.

Yes it can be something more.
Some people can't cope with physical contact like holding hands without it "meaning" something. Others love to hold hands with friends, and they don't imagine that it could be seen as anything more.
Also, different races and cultures have completely different attitudes to it. Generally, we in the UK are a little reticent when it comes to any physical contact with anyone that we're not VERY close to - but even the British are beginning to change I think.
I think it's good. More people should hold hands. It's a great way of saying "I like you" without getting sexual about it.
