As the weeks of talking went on i started to look forward to our little chats cause he always made me laugh and we were getting really close.This is where my problem starts.One day i got home from school and went on msn he was online. But he said he had to go the now but if i gave him my mobile number then he would text me. I seen no problem in this as i new him quite well.About 5 mins after he got of msn i got a txt asking how i was i replied. Everything was going great until i got a text askin if id send him a dirty text i replied no and we just laughed it of and got on with the convo. we had been talking more and more on msn adn the xx's at the end of the convo were building :D.He text me a couple of weeks ago sayin" Hey babe hows u? xxx" i thought it was weird he was callin me babe but went along with it we had a long convo n then it finished there. i text him the next day and there was no reply. Kept texting him and kept gettin no reply so i decided to just give up for now. a few weeks later i got a txt from him asking how i was i replied n he said he hadn't spoken to me in a while but i had text him the night b4 but he hadn't replied so i asked him why not he replied with "I fell asleep sorry darling. Missed you xx Love yah lots xx" i was so confused cause i no he wasn't asleep the night before as my mate who was staying at mine was textin him. but i simply replied "oh its ok yeah missing u 2 Lol xxx" We had a convo n i fell asleep next day he wasn't texting me back and i cant understand why.He still talks 2 me on msn but hardly ever texts me back he tells me he had no credit but he always has free weekends So what's the deal.My mates tell me hes playing hard to get but he doesn't realise he doesn't have to i like him but don't think he feels the same since we've known each other for so long i don't think hell see me in that way.I don't no what to do.Im sick of guys messing me about but hes so sweet and big hearted i don't think he would.I don't no if he likes me or if hes using me when hes bored.Please any help would be appreciated Thank you.xx

reader, anonymous, writes (11 April 2009): Hiya, maybe you should just ask him staright out, why he wasn't replying and see what he says.
I had a friend in a similar situation and eventually the guy just ditched her, he was obviously using her but she couldn't see until the end.
For this reason I'd say be careful, but it doesn't necessarily mean your guy is doing the same!
If he likes you he'll have a real reason for not texting back, and will be interested in you all the time, not just when he's bored!
Maybe you could get a trustworthy friend to find out if he does like you or not? Then you'll know where you stand in all this! Good luck x
