We started as friends 2 yrs ago.we have lots in common and understand trust and respect each other. We talk on the phone hours everyday. He has met my fam and i will meet his this weekend (abut its a seminar so its not like its set up for just me to meet them).we havent said we are boy/girlfriend, but i know theres noone else we are planning a 3 day trip together...we both feel like we are at an age where it u should date someone that you can see a future with as we both want to get married.so on the phone today i told him 1 of my friends is coming to the seminar too...hes met her 1x before when we all went out.so his reaction to her coming was "oh good i like her" and i was like " me too" to which he said "no i mean i really like her like more than friends" i was confused and just said "um ok" he laughed and said he was kidding did he say that to see how id react?  Yeah, he was kidding. He was only joking around. Men do that a lot. It's not just a female thing at all. He was messing with you. That's all. Forget about it.

 i would say he was just joking and yes he probably wanted to see how you would react thats how men are there funny creatures but if its on the other foot they don't like it but if you think it is a problem when your at the seminar just see how he acts with your friend and if he flirts then you will know the answer and just ask him out straight what he thinks his playing at good luck.
