reader, anonymous, writes (28 June 2009): Well, it depends. He will never have the trust and respect of his wife, and certainly you don't think highly of him. There are many ways to be "happy" in life, and just because he has money and lots of women, he seems to be happy to you.
But you don't know what people's lives are really like. You don't know what really goes on in his head. Everyone has doubts, fears, problems, a past. Everyone makes mistakes. This man will one day get old, he might lose his money etc. and then he will be a very sad individual. It doesn't matter though because it's his path, and he has to learn his own lessons. Good for you that you refused to sleep with him though. That says a lot about you.
