My friend's name is Miguel and every time that he talks to me he is always asking for a favor...I mean he never calls just to say hi..For example yesterday he told me that I should go to his baseball game with Laly ( who is his crush)I was thinking to myself I am not a taxi...Then last time he asked me if my mom could help him out....Also since my mom works at a grocery store he would always asks for discounts and stuff like that...I don't understand it is he taking advantage of our friendship???

If he never calls just to say Hi and never wants to hang out only for your company with no ulterior motives (such as you being the taxi) than yes, he is just a user. Does he ever do anything for you?

I think the other poster is right that some people are just like this with everyone, thats true, but those people aren't my friends. I have 'friend standards'.
