He's known for about three months that I loved him so hearing him say that, and knowing I'm the first girl he's ever said that too was a wonderful feeling. But now he's been a little distant, more quiet, and not as playful. I know I didn't pressure him into saying I love you because he tells me he loves hearing me say it and even apologized for taking so long to tell me. Is he maybe having regrets about telling me he loves me?

I think he's just nervous about his feelings and about where your relationship may lead. Give him time. Try to talk to him about it. Good luck, sweetheart.
