writes:Okay, so I like this guy and I have for a while and he finally aked me to prom, but later that day he confessed in a text that he likes my best friend. I am confused if he is using me to get closer to her or if I am a tool to make her jealous or maybe even something else. I am confused as in what to do. I don't want to become jealous of my best friend but I really like this guy. What should I do?

Here we go don't give no more interest in him he obviously told you straight up he doesn't like but he likes your best friend so there's a hint right there. Maybe he is using you to get to your best friend but that's not the very best thing to do if your friend is your best friend like you say she is and once she found out his little plan do you think she would want to be with him? I mean I know if a guy was trying with me throug my best friend I would just blow him and continue with my life and keep my best friend. Don't let a foolish immature guy come between you both. This are games he is playing.

 There is only one thing you can do here... its your best friend so tell her that he likes her. And tell him that next time instead of going through you go straight to her! It is an awful situation he has put you in! But men are men and know what they are doing half the time! If you really like this guy you will wont him to be happy! Its hard i know but i think deep down you already know what you have to do! Best wishes hunni :)
