How do you know if a guy is settling for you? I think my boyfriend is settling for me. I feel like when we first met, he wasn't that into me. Even now he says that I make a good girlfriend, which makes me think that he likes me only because I like him and treat him well, and that he doesn't like me for me necessarily.

Are there signs?

Is it normal for my boyfriend to really want to hang out with one of my female friends? It's always one of them and not my other friends. ...

It depends. Maybe they have a lot in common. Maybe he likes her more than he should. Maybe he just enjoys her company. It depends. What feeling does it give you? Do you sense he is more interested in her than he is you?

What are signs he's just settling?

That's a harder question. How much effort does HE put into the relationship? Does he make you feel special and important to him?
