Is he just being polite by accepting my affection, or could he really like me?

A female United Kingdom age 26-29, anonymous writes:

There's a guy I'm friends with, that I really like. I had a crush on him last year, that didn't go any where, and I'm still unclear as to whether he ever felt the same about me or not. We lost touch for just over a year, and we started hanging out again about a week ago, and this whole time I've been quite..affectionate. When I say affectionate I mean things like uh...cuddling up to him when we watch tv together, or holding his face sometimes when I talk, playing with his hair, kisses to his skin, things like that. He doesn't mind, as far as I know. He doesn't push me away or anything, sometimes he does look a bit surprised though, and sometimes he blushes (which is adorable can I just say). He is affectionate back too, but not as obviously as I am, or as often as I am. He's quite shy, by the way.

I was wondering if he likes me or not? Cause I can't help but think if he wasn't interested he wouldn't let me so close, but then he might just be being polite, haha. Thoughts?

So_Very_Confused agony auntListen to me... you are 16/17 there is no boy in the world (or a single man to be honest) that is going to turn down sexual games...

so when you cuddle him you are giving him sexual pleasure.

if you question if it's one sided, it probably is.

stop making advances and see what happens.

Meg5180 agony auntHow sweet, I think he must like you or he would have stopped your behavior right from the get go. Maybe you should sit down with him and let him know you want to date him. What is the worst that can happen??

You will never know unless you try!
