 A 16 years old boy is very probably just into your body.
The only way to see if he likes you for your personality too is to see if he wants to spend time with you also without being intimate. Tell him you are not ready for sex yet,that you want to take your time...if he likes you he will not mind waiting,otherwise he'll disappear fast.and you'll have had your answer.

Slow down here take your time and do not expect to much anyway? You can only find out about him as and when or if a relationship develops. Do not go throwing yourself at him and just remember that if he has dated before the personmost likely to get hurt here is you?Can you not discuss this with a sibling or better still your mom / dad. You may be suprised that we know quite a bit about such things?

 A 16 years old guy probably does not know what is love . If he is trying to get into your pants,then he is into your body.
If he is playing the field, then he is just messing around with you till he gets what he wants.
If he likes you , he will pay special attentions to you and treat you differently from his other girl friends..
