I like him but i don't know if the feeling is mutual and yet i only have the confidence to talk to him when i am drunk so i asked him if he liked me and he said yes, but was this just the drink talking?

Stop drinking. And do not be kissing a guy when he is drunk. How old are you? You do not want relationship based on "alcohol" adventure anyway. If he drinks, just stay away form him. Why are you even interested in someone who drinks?

 the only way you are going to find out is talking to him while you guys are sober whats the worst that could happen him say no? well at least you will still be alive and able to go out find someone else. but your just gonna have to ask him when you both are sober. i mean you could play the jealous game and see if he gets jealous when someone else is all over you but then you run the chance of losing him if he does like you... asking when you both are sober is the best option that i can see. And if he says no you'll live to find someone better.
