writes:I work with great guy thats a single father. I'll call him steve. I have been in a bad marriage for several years. Me and my husband seperated around Christmas time. My company had a Christmas party and my and Steve ended up making out (neither one of us was drunk). After that night we really didn't talk much and me and my husband got back together which only last a month and he has now left the state. Steve has asked me several times about the breakup. I will occasionally see him looking at me but he hasn't pursued anything yet. He has been single for some time now his ex the mother of his son left him for her drug habit, i guess we have this in common as my husband was also addicted to drugs. Is he afraid of a relationship or is waiting to be sure my marriage is really over?

 he may be afraid because he had his heartbroken like you. he sounds genuin and probably wants to see if the marriage is over for good this time.
