A female Canada age 30-35, anonymous writes:

At work there's this guy who I've definitely started developing feelings for and a lot of other people seem to think he likes me too.

Unfortunately there's a lot of red tape, he has a girlfriend and I have a long distance boyfriend. I'm not planning on breaking up with/cheating on my boyfriend anytime soon and I don't think he is either, it would just be nice to know he likes me back! So noo I'm not trying to be a homewrecker haha it'll just feel good to know he likes me too :P So here's the evidence!

1. He touches me literally constantly. We had a meeting the other day where we had to stand next to each other, and the whole thing we were playfully smacking each other, and on top of that our arms were so close that they were almost touching the entire meeting. Also ( I don't know why I'm this dumb! but i called him on standing literally so close his one foot was touching mine lol). He'll come up and push me or pretend to punch me probably 15 times a day.

2. Always finds a way to be standing near me at work - now keep in mind, everyone else at my work is pretty boring lol so it could just be that hes bored and wants a friend.

3. We happen to always be looking in the same direction, he's constantly in my peripherals and is looking at me a ton of the time I look up at him, or if not looking at me his body is positioned toward mine while talking to a customer (we sell cell phones) so that he's looking in my general direction.

4.One night when we were all drinking he texted one of my friends asking why I stay with my boyfriend if he's not good to me (out of the blue. I hadn't complained about my boyfriend in weekss)

5. Makes direct eye contact with me for prolonged periods of time, now I'm probably just biased cuz I'm always trying to make puppy dog eyes at him haha but, none of the other guys at my work hold my gaze like he does.

6. The other night we were offered a ride from work from a coworker of ours, but I told him I needed to pick up a bag from home before I headed in the direction of his house so I asked if he would walk me home and then my dad would drive us instead (this added a whole bunch of extra time in there that was unnecessary!) anyway he said he was just going to go with the other guy, and I didn't pout much just said oh alright then, and started walking home. A few seconds later I hear him calling after me and he runs up and says that the guy that was going to take him had some excuse not to take him (was phrased very awkwardly - as if he had just made it up) and then when i asked the guy why he didnt want to drive him home the next day he said it went down like this " weren't you two supposed to hang out after? where's she going?" and his response was " no. well, uhh, yeah." and then ran after me - and lied about why!

Reasons against:

1. Will not come out and drink with me! I've invited him to drink with a couple of our other coworkers several times (with pLENTY of advanced notice) and he always just says he'll think about it. (He does drink tho)

Don't have any other reasons hahah

I'M SORRY THIS IS SO LONG! thanks for your help though!!

aunt honesty agony auntIt sounds like he may like you, if it is more than a friend though am not sure. It seems like he enjoys hanging out with you at work and having a laugh with you, but when you ask him out outside of work he is against it, maybe this is because he is scared of letting his guard down in front of you because he has a girlfriend. Don't read to much in to it, as you said you and he are both in relationships so just look at it as a bit of friendly flirting at work and nothing more.
