reader, anonymous, writes (10 January 2006): As an aussie, we have known of Darren Hayes for a number of years now and a couple of years ago he was married to a chick who was a back up singer to savage garden. the marriage ended and not much has been made of his personal life since then but i would say he's not.

I sense he isnt gay although he does tend to act and talk in a camp way. its possible he is just a little effeminate in his mannerisms but not an actual practising gay man.
I feel he would be horrified if he thought you considered him gay and probably isnt aware of the way he acts.

I dont think he has ever admited himself to being gay, so maybe no. But as you know alot of people hide there sexuality, so if he was hiding it, I would be able to 'i so knew' as he does fit the stereotype of someone who is gay, yet sometimes people do but doesn't mean they arent...I guess we will never know hey?
