writes:I have this guy friend that I've been hanging out with casually for a few months. We get along well, and seem to have fun. We text all day, pretty much every day, and while there are no direct sexual references during our conversations, they are very "sexually charged". He takes me out as his "date" when he goes to functions with his friends, and while we're out, he touches me a lot and is very close to me. Am I misconstruing this to think he's attracted to me?

I think he is. But I think you need to talk to him about it to see where you stand. The signs are all blatantly there, but you'll never know for sure unless you talk to him.
