" and he said " he told me ".Now , by saying he loves me, do you think he means it literally, or could it mean something else ?. When i was seeing another guy, J told me that he wouldn't do the things that that guy did to me, as he didnt treat me well all the time. He also said that if he were my age, he would go after me. It has been a while since he said that to me though as i hadnt seen him for ages before today.I saw J again today though and he asked me if i was still seeing the other guy, which i'm not, and later, he was stood at the bar and i was stood across the room and he looked at me and winked at me and smiled but it seemed like a cheeky kind of smile lol . What confuses me though is that J tried to help me out with the guy i used to be seeing by talking with me about him and he was there for me when me and the other guy broke up. But i dont understand why he would help me if he thinks a lot of me himself ?. What do you think ?.

I reckon he does like you but this age thing is the barrier...

Perhaps he didn't want to appear pushy or even try competing with the other guy.
Why don't you try going after him? It does sound like he's into you.
