Question - (23 March 2009) 2 Answers - (Newest, 12 October 2009)
A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

ok so my friend is with this guy and they claim they "love" eachother but everytime i talk to him he's always saying that he';s got to prove to his gf whom is also my friend that he loves her because she's said! this is getting really pathetic tbh and the other day he told me they are not together because apparently "he's a woman beater" because he was angry and tried to grab her hand to hold it and when he did he squeezed her hand and apparently "hurt" her finger and she's now told him that he has to tell everyone he's a woman beater!

i've tried giving him advice because tbh i think she enjoys making him grovel she's also told him now that she is "scared" of him and calling him a woman beater!

my question is do you all think the same as me and that this relationship is a joke? like she's just being so petty all the time! trying to find ways to get out of the relationship?

please any oppinions welcome!

thanks

IHateWomanBeaters agony auntno he is not a woman beater, but it is a sign of what is yet to come.

If she is scared she should not get back with him

jessica04 agony auntugh, more drama than you need!

IF he only held her hand and happened to squeeze it, I wouldn't classify him as abusive, but unless you were there and saw what happened, I would jsut stay out of it.

He needs to be a big boy and jsut leave that situation before she completely kills his reputation.
