I felt confused because I felt it was too early in the relationship for him to say anything like that to me--I almost thought that equated to those other three words and that freaked me out--do I have reason to feel weird or did I overreact from a sweet comment? Dont read more into it o.k. A connection could mean just feeling comfortable and having fun. If he feels those three lttle words he will come out and say it hopefully in nice romantic setting, you'll know when it happens. You can just feel it!TAKE IT FROM SOMEONE WHO KNOWS Be patient and have fun!!!!!!

Possible overreaction. Give this guy the benefit of the doubt. Maybe his "connection" just means "Wow, we're hitting it off and I wasn't sure we would!" To you, it obviously mean something more serious, but this isn't a rigidly defined term.
So unless his statement was accompanied by a ring and a proposal, I wouldn't worry that things were moving too fast. Smile and enjoy the fact that your boyfriend was pleasantly amazed by the fact that you're getting along this well, this early in your relationship.
