friendships i agree with her. Relationships then the story changes a bit.
personally a woman in her early 30s would probably fall into the too old category for a 26 year old bloke.
That said different people want different things. I am 41 and have friends who are 30, but and here's the difference i consider we couldn't be really great friends as we're in different places in our lives. I have 3 childen, the youngest is 12. My friends' have either no children or children under 3 years old. To them i probably seem old. To me i want to sit and chat without the interuption of kids now that i can actually sit without having to chase a toddler around.
Hope that kind of answers the question. Although now come to think of it age is just a number. Puzzled? There is no answer

Actually I think 30 is young! I'm 16 and I think that old is 70.
0-6 Small Child
7-10 Child
11-14 Adolecent
15-19 Young Adult
20-40 Adult
41-65 Middle Aged
65-70 Not young but yet not old
70+ Old.
