This is a really good question to ask. It all depends on your situtation. I am like you I love an older man however I don't have an older brother or my father wasn't in my life. It seems to be easier for people who don't have an older sibling to date older cause even if your bro/sister is only 3 years older it seems like a big age differences cause they are your siblings. You have the right attitude to not care about what anyone says. At the end of the day you are responsible for your own happiness.
Peace and love

I am personally attracted to older men, but I stopped worrying about being normal in high school. Loll.
I am not as worried about "Age Difference" as I am about "Stage Difference". If you are in wholly different stages in your life, you'll notice a disconnect more than the numbers alone will provide.
For example, if you are in school and he's out in the real world, working and paying taxes and possibly has children, you two would be in different stages... right?
Ultimately, it is up to the two of you to decide what feels right. Good luck.
