 Living in the US, the rules are very different. If her parents wanted to they could press charges against you for being with their daughter. I dont think you even have to have sex with her to get into trouble. If you were 30, she would be 22, adn there would be nothing wrong with that. What do her parents think? You also have to remember she is still very young. 15 years old is a young age. She may be confused about her feelings, she may find that after awhile its too much for her to be in a serious relationship. She also may love you very much and know this is right for her. I wish you all the best. Talk to her parents and get their opinion. Talk to your parents as well.

reader, anonymous, writes (31 March 2008): The only problem I see is her age (15) and not the age difference of 8. I am not sure of the laws in the U.K., but in the USA, different states have different rules, and 15 is and can be a problem, whether or not sex is involved.
Her parents "should" be okay with the relationship, otherwise you may need to postpone until she reaches a specific age, for the parents have the legal rights and can excercise them againts you.
