If it was only a crush or a sexual interest, yes a bad date could kill it. That's what dates are for; discovering chemistry (or lack thereof)
If you would like to pursue things with this woman, I suggest you tone the sex part down a little, examine what went wrong on your last date in order to correct it, then ask for another date. You may have to be persistant, depending on how badly the date went.
