Girls are every bit as guilty of this kind of switch, if not even more guilty. They spend their teens hot after the "bad boys" and then eventually expect to settle down and marry one of the "nice guys" they had not wanted to date in their teens.

 I met a girl in first year uni who'd never so much as kissed a guy. We had a great relationship. And she was 19. Waiting will do you no harm at all, and will save you all kinds of drama and pain. Good for you for being so thoughtful about it!
