Is 4 years too big of an age gap?

A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Hi

Im 16 and like a 20 year old man he's a cashier that always flirts with me.

I was wondering if 20 is too old for me i'm not an

immature person but i'm not really sure if it's okay for me to say something to him or ask him if he would like to go for coffee.

I know it's not as bad as say a 13yo and 22yo age gap but am aware at this age it can be a significant difference and don't want to end up in a relationship that may affect possible relationships in the future. I do however know that i'm not trying to replace a male figure in my life which is what i would usually say to someone who was into someone older.

Anyways i know this guy likes me, not exactly sure if he wants a relationship but i know he would be too shy to say anything

any help and advice is appreciated

thankyou xx

She's the same as u quite mature.. so i think u could relate to him in some way more immature girls couldnt. Goodluck:)
