writes: I've been apart from my husband for four months and our divorce will be final the end of next month. I miss him when I think of the good times and I cry. Then I reassure myself that I made the right decision by leaving (abusive relationship). After being together for 8 years I'm left feeling incredibly lonely though. Many say it's best to take time to heal but I'm really feeling like I'm ready to meet someone new. I'm not ready to get too serious but maybe a nice guy to spend some time with. Would you say it's too soon? Is online dating worth a shot? The weekends are especially hard.

reader, anonymous, writes (27 September 2010): I think you can start dating, but at the same time it's ok to be single. you need to learn that as nice as it is to have someone else your also good by yourself. Your a queen and make sure that any guy who wants to be with you knows it, and never let another man put his hands on you!!
