writes: I have been talking to a guy loads on msn messenger and we met a couple of days ago. He is really into me and i know hes genuine but i didn't think i felt the same. Today, i bumped into a guy i used to really like and now we are meeting tomorrow and i really like him and he likes me too but the other guy has asked to meet me tomorrow for his birthday and i want to just tell him that i don't feel it will go anywhere and i only like him as a friend but its his birthday today! and i can't ignore him on msn either because thats just immature. Please help I don't want to hurt him :'(

 I would let the "birthday" guy know that you made previous plans. You don’t have to go into detail about it. Just let him know you are sorry for missing his birthday. After that try to keep the msn relationship at a more friend only level. I think that any way you go about it the guy is going to get his feelings hurt, these things are unavoidable. I've been there (on both ends), I recovered and went on and am better off for it. Be strong and good luck.

Well first of all if you really like this other guy that you are supposed to be meeting then stick with him you can always go to the msn guy and say you will see him another day and when you see him tell him you really thought he was cool but your not the right girl for him and he will find a girl out there that can be good for him. and then say lets be friends hug then keep chatting to him ounce in awhile so he still knows your around and wants to be friends..
