Every night actually for like weeks. Its annoying. I thought I had him out of my head already. My ex was abusive in every way possible. I've grown to hate him. I gave my all to my ex... I have a kid from him to... he's not in her life... he's not a good person over all. He might even end up in prison for a long time for what he's done since there's court that has to be established. Why do I keep dreaming about him? In my dreams he is nothing how he is in real life. He's a wonderful person in my dreams and I'm in love with him again. I do wish he was a good person atleast for my daughters sake... but I can't get him out of my dreams. Its been over two years that I've spoken with him (my ex).

Perhaps because you have a daughter with your ex boyfriend and he treated you very horribly, you are now dreaming about your ex boyfriend as the perfect one because subconciously you want your daughter to have a father and perhaps subconciously you wish it to be her biological father.

I suppose some people are just very deep in your subconscious. And I am happily with a long term partner, with teenage daughters! Your mind just plays funny tricks on you.

There is no scientific evidence that dreams are anything more significant than the brain exercising it's amazing ability to put together a "coherent" picture from the random firings of neurons.
If anyone tells you otherwise, demand citations from peer reviewed scientific journals.
