We had the most wonderful relationship, and I cannot remember a time when we fought about anything besides who loved who more. Towards the end of our relationship I started having feelings for my best friend ('Bob') of two years. Ultimately, I left Cody for Bob, and for 6 months now, I've missed Cody. Bob and I constantly struggle in our relationship and bump heads, but I love him nonetheless.Recently, I've begun to get very close with Cody. We share all the same feelings we had for eachother way back when. We reminisce about all the great times we shared, and while we were chatting at the park, he placed his hand on my leg the whole time. He also kissed me on the cheek when I departed.Bob hates the fact that Cody and I have become so close again. I tell him to relax, and not worry about it, but I know he has every right to feel that way about Cody and I. I would too in his position. What should I do? I'm usually very in tune with my emotions, but I'm so confused in who I want. I miss Cody so much, the love we shared for eachother is unforgettable. I'm still in love with Cody. However, I love Bob with all my heart, and I'm so afraid to hurt him.

Dear Confused, Is it possible that you love Bob as a best friend rather than a boyfriend?
It is hard to accept that it is not right when you have been best friends for so long before you started a relationship, but then again you have got to think of who you had a better relationship with.
