I'm really confused!!! i know this may sound wrong but i am in love with a hall monitor at my school. i am 16 and he is 25. i actually make it a point everyday to look good for him to see me and to purposley go and walk by the hall he is patrolling. i know he sees me and notices me but there is so much tension. i just want to jump onn him. i really do have feelings for him. i even know where he lives. my friend lives right across from him so when im at my friends house i purposley walk by his house to see him. he waves to me when i see him outside of school. i just don't know what to do. school is already out and i dont know if he is coming back in september. im taking regents exams and he was there today and he sat next to me and my friend while we waited to take a test. whenever he talks to this one girl i get mad because she is getting the attention. i just don't know what to do. i need positive advice i dont need to be told that im crazy and i need to stop i just need some advice. please respond.

britney spears agony auntthats awesome! i know exactly how u feel! im 25 now but when i was 14 i was in love with a 37 yearold~ yeah u think ur stories bad~ anyway i of course couldnt go out with him but yeah! so wut u need to do is tell him personally yea u mite need to get the courage up! and the reason i say personally is becuz since u r younger than him, if u tell ur friend or right a letter to express to him u like him then he might think thats immature! so u should walk up to him looking all good with tons of confidence and tell him. see how he responds if he responds in a good way great! ask him out or wait for him to ask u out! and if he responds badly then say ok alright well c ya around! then prance off! its perfect and it might make him feel bad! anyway do that and u should be golden! i like to know if i helped so lets b friends and tell me wut happens! good luck

A reader, anonymous, writes (12 June 2008):

You are brewing trouble for him and you. I actually had a similar situation, was attracted to a girl 6 yrs younger when I was 22. Had enough sense to stay away from her and she continued on with school, college etc. 20 years later we were married and have been together 7 years now.

I believe you might be in love with him and he with you, it happens regardless of age. But give yourself some time, at least 3 more years before you pursue your desires. Society take a dim view, and rightfully so, of a 25 year old being intimate with a 16 year old. Difference is a lot less at 26 and 35.

I feel for you sweetie but stay in control and good luck.
