reader, anonymous, writes (17 September 2006): When I was in a long distance relationship, we used to try and see each other at least 2,3 times a month.For me the sex wasn't an issue because I wanted to be with this guy so much I didn't mind waiting. However for him it was different and when I wasn't around he was sleeping with other girls. So my advice to you is, if you feel that you need more sex and this relationship is not giving you what you want,then its not for you.If you really loved your partner then the sex wouldn't be an issue.

 I presume you mean because you have a sex drive that wants sex more often than you see the person in the relationship??
How about 'phone sex' with your long distance partner??
Or you could chat online with each other - use webcams and so on.
You could find that the desire you feel is stronger because that person isn't there when you're feeling horny - so much so that when you get together it's a far better experience!
