I'm worried that X is telling T all sorts of lies about me. What should I do now?

A female United Kingdom age 26-29, anonymous writes:

Dear Cupid

I have started to like this boy, let's call him T.

But he is friends with another girl, call her X.

I've never liked X ever. She is absolutely full of herself, and is horrible to anyone she doesn't like, anyway this isn't about her.

My friend accidentally gave it away to X, and X told me she liked T, but has never managed to get him to like her, she also said that he doesn't seem that into relationships, because he went psycho at a girl when she kissed him on the nose.

This sounds completely stupid and fake, because I've talked to T, and he doesn't seem the kind of person who would go mad over a little kiss.

I'm now worried that X is telling T all sorts of lies about me, an I'm not sure what to do.

Please help!!!??!!?!!
