However, I always feel like a burden to people and feel that it is getting in the way of possible relationships. On top of that it doesn't help that the guys I like are often the ones who are most caring but I feel that my 'issues' keep them at a distance and so they become friends and nothing more.Is there anything I can do to change this around, get close to them despite these problems or can guys only cope with friends suffering but not their girlfriends? All advice appreciatedxxxxx Reply to this Question Share |

Excersize on a regular basis. Studies show that excersizing for 20-30 minutes at least every other day, can raise your mood. Also Get into some type of team sport. Softball, basketball, volleyball. You need to feel like you belong somewhere. Being on a team could be the answer. You can also perhaps take Tennis lessons. Get out there into the sunlight. Studies also show that people who stay indoors, are more depressed than people who don't.
Or, how about taking a dance class. Get active. I am speaking from experience. Good luck hon.
