hi, i really need some advice because i think i am falling for a guy i don't even know…

my friend set me up with him, he goes to a different school, is in the year above and lives quite nearby.

we have been texting non stop but only for around 2 days but i already really really like him. he wants to meet me and i think i want to meet him too but i am worried i could be falling in love with his texts not him. he is so cute over texts and makes me really happy but i don't know if he will be the same in real life…

i barely even know what he looks like so i might not find him even slightly attractive which would mean i have led him on to think i could be in love yet i might hate who he actually is…

I'm in a real mess and i can't find anyone to help me because i don't want to tell my friends about him, so you guys are the only ones who can possibly help. can you please tell me what to do?

Tisha-1 agony auntOh, and P.S.

Any guy you have to hide from friends or family?

He's not a good guy.

He's a loser!

Sorry.

Tisha-1 agony auntMeet him and decide if you two are compatible or not.

It's not rocket science, it's just normal "does she like me?" or "does he like me?" stuff.

Lay off the texting until you meet him as you obviously aren't comfortable with this uncertainty.

You don't know what he looks like, you are worried you led him on.

So stop any convos in which you lead him on, meet him IRL and then decide if you can start dating. Again IRL That means (for you newbies) IN REAL LIFE.

One more thing.

If you can't tell your parents about him that suggests either you feel guilty about his or you don't trust him.

In this case, I'd say both apply.

Get a boyfriend you can be proud of and one you can introduce to your parents. Any other boyfriend type is a total waste of time.
