I am wondering if I could have an STD.

When me and my ex bf were together I gave him oral with no condom. But I trusted him enough to believe him when he said he had no STD's. The thing is though we have no broken up as I realisd he wasnt trustworthy. So I am worried now maybe I have something even though I dont have any symptoms.

We never actually had unprotected intercorse, but his penis did touch the outside of my vagina.

What sorts of STD's could I have? And how do the doctors test for them? Im really nervous about geting a test done because I hate needles. Is it a blood test? Urine test? Or do they take a swab? Thanks for any information.

If you caught anything then you should be seeing symptoms down there.

There are "silent" STD's though with Chlamydia and the HPV virus being the most common. They can be tested for with a swab test.

The big one is HIV and Aids. That has to be tested for with a blood test. But since you used condoms the chances of you having that are tiny.

Good Luck!! xx

It's unlikely that you'll have contracted anything nasty 'down below' if he wore a condom, but the fact that you gave him oral wothout one could be a cause for concern. The mouth is no different to the vagina when it comes to passing on diseases.

If you're worried, get a test done at your local clinic. Even if you get a little prick from a needle surely that's better than dying? The various stages of testing (if indeed you have picked something up) will probably include all three.
