SO I'm at the library and a girl I haven't seen in a long time and actually didn't remember walks up to me and basically acknowledges that she remembers me from church, etc. We had a very brief chat and I ended things with "It was good to see you." Seconds later, I was kicking myself. Golden opportunity! I'm half laughing at myself honestly. Anyways, she still goes to my old church and our parents know each other. I'm wondering if it'd be weird from a female prospective if I pursued this. I mean, I don't go there anymore and I feel like it'd be a bit weird if I showed up the same weekend, ya know? I going to do something about this anyways because it's driving me up the wall. I just can't believe I didn't get her number. Feels a bit desperate even writing this. My gut says do something about it, I can always try, and I will. I just want some ideas on how to do this without it being weird. That's it. Reply to this Question Share |

I don't think it would come across as weird if you find her number and call her up and ask if she would like to go out for coffee or lunch or something low keyed. Just say you enjoyed speaking with her and would like to continue the conversation. See if you can get her number from her folks, they aren't complete strangers.

Your parents know each other, so they can obtain her number, call her you don't have to do the awkward church surprise.
