Could Someone Help and end my confusion?i had Implanon (impalnt) inserted Early Last Year, Around June i think or before, The Thing is ive had light spotting since it was insertedbut since Christmas/New year ive had no period, no spotting, nothing! i had sex on both Christmas And New Year! and ive had Spotting EVERY monthSo is there a chance the implant can fail?ive been feeling quite low and my body is reacting like im pregnant. (i have had 1 child) so i am having similar feelings. like wanting to sleep, no energy and finding it uncomfortable to lie on my stomach plus major mood swings and for some reason my abdoman has been feeling unusual. its hard to describe. ive done a store bought pregnancy test a few weeks ago and it came back negative. so either im not pregnant or i am but took the test to early?!?What do You think?Arrgh Please help.

If you have an implant, usually you'll get lighter to no period at all. Maybe your body isn't reacting very well to it either, afterall, what the hormones do is trick your body into thinking it's pregnant that way you won't ovulate, so some pregnancy sypmtoms can happen with those sort of things. Take another test just in case and definitely speak with your doctor or go see him/her so they can test you thru blood and maybe you can use something else that won't bother you so much.

Hormones can do weird things and they can take about 6 months to settle in so this could be a new phase.
Head down to the family planning clinic and have a chat with the nurse. Most of them have drop in sessions so you could pop in before work tomorrow.
I'm pretty sure you're fine, the implant is pretty much fullproof as far as I know.
