writes: well me and my boyfriend have been together for 9 months. I have been feeling depressed recently because I feel he doesnt pay much interest in me anymore. he tells me he loves me but he met new friends at school and wants to hang around with them a lot. And he hangs around with girls aswell so I get really jelous. I tell him what I feel but he just thinks its funny because iam jelous, sometimes I think he likes it. Things used to be better when he didnt hang around with his friends, he payed more attention to me I just wish he would stop spending so much time with them. Iam just confused will you help me????

reader, anonymous, writes (6 November 2006): Sounds like ur pretty miserable right now. I felt i had to reply cos i was in a similar situation not too long ago.
U mention school so ur obv quite young, and i think u need to realise that this boy doesn't seem to be after a serious committed relationship right now, and that's understandable. Ur still in school, u should be out with ur friends, meeting new people and generally enjoying life! not wasting time being upset about this guy who chances are u won't be with in 10 years anyway! So try not to worry, enjoy urself and hopefully things will sort themselves out for u. Best wishes :)
