The faster you walk, the faster you'll toss the ball & vice verse. Do this non stop (till you can't do without a rest and then put the ball down while you continue to walk). When you are rested enough, resume tossing the ball as you walk. Naturally, if you have a variety of weighted balls, you can mix them up during your walk (try to get your time up to 45-60 minutes of continuous movement). Do this five or six days a week, and after a month, you'll notice a difference (over your entire body). Continue it for three to four months, and your friends and family will be amazed. Naturally, your diet is an important part of your success.

Getting fit requires a lifestyle change. I don't believe that you should try the boot camp style of getting fit. Instead make a gradual lifestyle change that you'll be able to maintain for the rest of your life. Let me give you a few pointers.
A. Start by walking more often. If time permits, make it a habit to have your last meal of the day by no later than seven PM.
B. Soon after dinner go for a walk at a comfortable pace for at least thirty minutes. It is ok to walk less than thirty minutes during your first weeks.
C. Save your biggest and favorite meals for lunch. Train your body to eat less in the evenings. This you can do by simply eating more during lunch and cutting your dinner portions slowly. Eventually you will be less hungry at night.
D. As you get more into the world of walking and eating well you can dare to join a gym and take it a step further.
Just remember, the best exercise in the world is the one that you can keep doing over and over and over. Also, as one workout begins to get boring quickly switch to a totally different workout. For example, when you get bored with walking around the block after dinner, try a very soft and easy aerobic exercise or bike riding.
Be sure to take it at your own pace. Don't make it a boot camp, instead, make it a lifestyle. Make sure you pick exercises that you feel like doing over and over again.
And last but not least, don’t be discouraged by failure. In your first year, you will fail to follow your diet and exercise plan more often than you will succeed. Don’t let that discourage you. Just keep trying every chance you have to give it another shot.
Good luck and here is to your new start!
