writes: Okay my bff wrote a song and she wants me to create the music to it. Im a pretty good musician but i can't make the music to it! My dad is a really good musician too and he can't make the music. the song isn't good at all. I've thought about asking my band teacher to help me create the music to it, but i don't know if he can. she called me and i sung the revised version of to her and she got mad and almost hung up on me. UGH i don't know what todo!!! i don't want to hurt her feeling by not doing it and i don't want to finsh it she not like it! what should i do? Reply to this Question Share |

That's a good idea with your band teacher. Songwriting can be fun, but trying at times. When I look at song lyrics, the first thing I think about is how to bring out the feelings so when it's played the audience can feel the song. The lyrics alone can excite feelings and emotions, but so can the music behind it.
I hope you get it worked out.

Darling you are about 10-12. This may seem like one of the most important things to you right now but seriously don't worry about it. If you can't do it you can't do it. I know when me and my friends were younger we spent all of our time making up and singing songs and convincing ourselves we were the next Britney Spears or something. One day you'll look back on it and laugh that you worried so much about it.
