A male reader, rcn United States +, writes (15 May 2008):

rcn agony auntThat's a good idea with your band teacher. Songwriting can be fun, but trying at times. When I look at song lyrics, the first thing I think about is how to bring out the feelings so when it's played the audience can feel the song. The lyrics alone can excite feelings and emotions, but so can the music behind it.

I hope you get it worked out.

dreamingwithabrokenheart agony auntDarling you are about 10-12. This may seem like one of the most important things to you right now but seriously don't worry about it. If you can't do it you can't do it. I know when me and my friends were younger we spent all of our time making up and singing songs and convincing ourselves we were the next Britney Spears or something. One day you'll look back on it and laugh that you worried so much about it.
