writes:Hey all,Split up with my gf a month back we were not going out that long but everything seemed good we were getting along and her family loved me etc...she is seeing someone else which is her only friend and her family did not like him one bit due to how he act's looks and lazy, I have been cool and not phoned or been in any contact even though I have been stewing over things. I know it is over as far as I am concerned but it's still doing my head in, I have been doing everything I can to go out with friends, get fiter, meet new people etc.What can I do to try and get my head over her and move on as everything I do works for abit but then she pop's into my head again.Am I doing the rite thing?Any advice would be good thanks

 That always bafffles me as well. I know a bloke who just stands on his own in the pub, not making much conversation, but on facebook he has over 300 friends. Some people just add anyone don't they?

You won't be able to help her popping in to your head, after all she meant something to you for a while there. You are doing the right thing by getting involved in other activities and meeting new people. Your ex knows where you are and if she has made a mistake then she'll probably come looking for you. If not, just carry on doing what you are doing and if y our lucky you may meet the girl of your dreams who won't run off with someone else.
