writes: hi everyone, im a 25 year old final year dental student in the uk. i play a lot of rugby and go to the gym regulary, about 4 to 5 times a week. ive never realy had a girlfriend and im not that great with girls. so my thoughts are if im bad at something the best thing to do is to practice at it untill you get good. i was thinking of joining an internet dating service like match.com etc. im not expecting much, but thought i might be able to go on a few dates and improve my experiance. just wondered if anyone here has joined any dating sites like this and what they are like? and did they work for you? and do you have any advice for somone new to this?cheers, thanks for your time

They lie about their weight, hight, place of origin, ocupation, etc, etc. Some of my internet dates even lied about their hobbies!
Be ready for big surprises!
For your own safety, meet with them in public places.

If you do go on one, be very careful that you're safe and that you don't end up being used. The best way to get practise speaking to girls is to meet them, You'd be far better off doing something where women are, so you can just talk to them. Online can be very hollow, and you need to be able to talk in person, not just over the internet.
