writes: hiIm 12 weeks Pregnant with my first child im so Excited! i have my First scan next week so i can see the baby. My partner is coming with me. im just scared they say there is no baby there, or that there is something wrong with it. But i must be pregnant because i have already been to my midwife, she has done my blood tests and told me how many weeks i was roughly. and i had 2 positive pregnancy tests at home, and my stomache is kind of starting to show. im just terrified that my baby is not ok or that there is infacet no baby. do you have some advice to assure me because i cant stop worrying!

Try to relax because this early in the pregnancy stress is not a good thing. You'll see everything will be fine , i had a miscarriage during the first timester & now im 7mths pregnant w my little girl.

Worrying does not do you any good. Try to think in a more positive manner.

reader, anonymous, writes (13 May 2010): They wouldn't be sending you for a scan if you weren't pregnant. The whole thing is probably just hitting you. Welcome to the world of being a mum, worry is what we do, it's just natural. When you go and see the baby you will feel better.
