reader, anonymous, writes (30 March 2007): Stop beating yourself up and being angry with yourself. This is perfectly normal, we have all done this. I loved (or thought i did) a guy when i was 16. He just didn't even want to speak to me. He went out of his way to chat up my friend and eventually went out with her. I used to watch him come out of work, i knew where he lived etc. But I soon realised that he was playing a cruel game with my head. He used to flirt with me etc. I just stopped looking, following him. I even stopped going to our youth club to keep away from him. I met someone better later. You need to divert your attention elsewhere, i know it isn't easy, but clearly you are wasted on this one. You deserve to meet someone better and not this cad!
