I waited patiently and he finally he said it ...I LOVE YOU.....woa what a dooozy! I was like a dear in headlights. So for all you ladies wondering....well it did finally happen he said it first and he apologized that it took so long he said he wanted to say it a long time ago but he's not good with these things. Ps hes 45 and has NEVER in his life said it to anyone else...I am on cloud nine...definetly.... Goodnight all!!!! Reply to this Question

Hi there. Congratulations, on hearing these 3 little words.
They are not always easy to say to someone, as it is a phrase you really need to be sure about, before you actually say it.
And he finally did say it.
Before this, he may have been wondering what the outcome of saying "I Love You" might have on his life.
If he hasn't said it before to anyone, well then I am assuming he hasn't been in a serious relationship before now.
Well anyway, that doesn't really matter, does it?
Of course not.
He may have been waiting all his life, to meet someone he felt he wanted to share the rest of his life with.
And now he has found that special someone - YOU.
That is wonderful news.
I am guessing, that the next step might be wedding bells?
Don't pressure him on this.
Let him bring up the subject of marriage.
It would have taken a lot of courage for him to say I Love you, and so the rest will be easy.
Just by saying that to someone special, is a HUGE step for any man to take.
And this in itself is a comittment to someone you love.
He may have felt it for quite some time, but wasn't sure when to actually come right out and say it - until now.
And so you can rest assured, that he has probably been thinking it over and over and over, in his mind for quite a while, before deciding to just say it to you, in the end.
It is a big step he has taken in your relationship.
