i need help plz.recently have been sleeping more than usual.i sleep like 12-16hours a day and even at that,i get someone to wake me up not me waking up willingly.

i get tired easily and all i wona do is lie down and rest.whenever i stand up to go get something,i become weak and almost as if am gona black out or mostly i get dizzy{i dont get up quickly just gently}.

i dont have appetite for most foods.

i feel like vomiting though i havent vomited lately but it feels like the food is in my throat and i feel like dipping my hand in my throat and forcing them out.

i feel hot inside even if the temperature is cold or normal and sometimes i feel dehydrated.my mouth is also bitter.

am sensitive towards little things and sometimes i cry over little things{thats not me!i dont do that before.}

i go to the toilet frequently and most times the amount of my urine content is low like little urine just comes out, just tiny little bit.

my back hurts{lower back} and my legs feels tired and sometimes my stomach hurts as if i wona go to the toilet but when i get there nothing comes out.

plz help.it started recently.whats wrong with me!?

this is exactly what i had! about a year ago wheni left school i didnt have a job and i didnt go to college now i do tho :D.. but wheni left i found myself bored after a while soo i found myself sleeping alot and each week i seemed to start sleeping for longer and then longer then i felt myself not eating much and always getting body aches and being quite moody and always just wanting to sleep when my mum used to try and wake me up i used to have to drag myself out of bed to do so!! but i found out this was all down to sleeping TO MUCH!! sounds silly but if you start to get up earlier and only have a bout 9 hours each night you find yourself gettin out of bed much easier and less tired u also get less body aches as you are stretching your muscles which you arent doing when your sleepin alot! you also have a better appetite as your metabolism starts going when your active so then you want to eat! so basically sleep less and eventually you will get in a ourtine and you will be a lot less tired because your body doesnt feel as if it needs as much sleep :D

Yeah I know this is on top of everything else, see a doctor. I have a hunch what it is but I'll feel like a prat if I get it wrong.

Don't panic though. You've noticed the symptoms and when you see your doctor they'll find something and they'll have a solution.

Keep us posted to what it is. I am intrigued =)

Please see a doctor as soon as possible!!! My friend had something that sounded similar; she slept all the time, got dizzy and was diagnosed with Graves disease which is a thyroid problem. Her doctor wanted to operate on her thyroid but instead she went to see a holistic/integrative doctor who recommended detoxifying and organic raw vegetable juicing and she got better. I'm not saying you have to do the same treatment but please see a doctor, get a diagnosis, and do thorough research on your ailment. Best of luck to you!

I know what's wrong with you, and you know it too.

I've been through all that.

EAT.

You're obviously taking the conscious decision not to eat.

These are the results of that.

Excericise for atleast an hour a day (whether it's running or swimming or whatever) DONT go overboard though

Eat 3 healthy meals a day, eating something will do your body far better than not eating.

& PLUS healthy eating, (veg, salads, fruit) and excercise will make you feel so much better.

I've done my body so much damage through eating disorders, don't make the same mistake.

DrPsych agony auntYou won't know what is wrong until you see a doctor but your symptoms could be an underactive thyroid or diabetes mellitus as both make you feel VERY tired (I write from experience!). It could be a range of conditions but only blood and urine tests can confirm/ exclude diagnoses and this is why you need to see a doctor.

A reader, anonymous, writes (30 June 2008):

I think it's from the age of around 12, but you definately have a right to confidentiality by the age of 14. Call the surgery and give them your name. You can tell the doctor it's confidential before you tell him what's wrong.

The NHS in the UK run a 24/7 telephone advice service. You can contact them on 0845 4647 if you need emergency advice. Don't be afraid, call them, they are there to help. Again if your worried just tell them your age and tell them you'd like to keep things confidential.

Good luck babes, don't delay, anything could be wrong. So give them a call right away.

Yes, all of the aforementioned advice si good - hey, I'm no expert on this but these symptoms I've seen and heard of before in someone I knew personally: depression.

Please, as all others have said, see your doc. If it is depression, it can be sorted but as I say, we're no medical experts.

Good luck Miss.

Tisha-1 agony auntTo the doctor, as soon as possible. If you can't afford one, go to an emergency room. We are not medical experts and cannot diagnose your symptoms. Sorry, but you really need to be seen by a doctor.

Peterk5699 agony auntI'll just have to say what the rest have said: Go to your doctor. It doesn't sound good at all.

It could be anything and until you get yourself checked over you don't know what it is.

Go to the docs ASAP.

Good luck.

A male reader, ChiRaven United States +, writes (30 June 2008):

ChiRaven agony auntI can only repeat what's already been said. This could be something as easy as changing something in your diet, or something that could be life-threatening if you don't get it fixed right away. Only a doctor can really tell you for sure. You need solid medical advice and you need it now. PLEASE don't delay.

Dosen't sound good... GO TO THE DOCTOR

We can advise you over the internet, we can't see you, we can't examine you. You need to see a doctor, anything could be wrong. Tell the doctor everything you've told us.

I wish I knew what country you live in. Here in the UK we have a 24hour hotline run by the National Health system. If you live here, please update and I'll give you the telephone number.

Oh, crying over anything aches, you are either still going through puberty, which is when you are just a big mess, abig emotional wreck, or you are just extreamly lazy, and or could have a disease, or sickness, you should go to a doctor to check that out.

A female reader, O Connor Ireland +, writes (30 June 2008):

O Connor agony auntwell i suggest that instead of asking us wat wrong with you (us being agony aunts and regular joes) GO TO THE DOCTOR my god with symptoms like these i'd be at my doc in a heartbeat - it could be pregnancy, anemia, cystisis, urinary infection, hormonal imbalance....anything. my point is your not going to get a diagnosis here so why aren't you with a professional? there is obviously something wrong with you so go and get it sorted! good luck and i hope you get well
