writes:So my friend tried to set me up with her college friend around 5 months ago. I wasn't interested at first but recently we've started talking again and it's got to the point where were talking everyday. We haven't met yet but were arranging to. I've started to really like him, we share the same interests, have the same taste in music were just so alike. I can't tell if he likes me though. I'm quite a shy person so I wouldnt ask him if he liked me but I want to know. Any ideas?

 Okay well you both have still not met each other face to face yet so I think you are getting way to ahead of yourself. I understand that over the phone you are both getting on quite well and getting to know each other, but you might not feel the same when you actually spend time together. Don't put to much pressure on yourself or him, just take things slow. Meet up with him a few times and get to know him first. Once you are more comfortable around him then you can see how the relationship is developing and then give him small hints that you like him, I advice against involving any of your friends as this is quite playschool stuff and a relationship is left better between two people with nobody getting involved. Just take your time and get to know him and in time it will soon become clear if he likes you or not.

If i was you i would ask a mutual friend that you really trust to drop HINTS that you like him, and then get the friend to see what he thinks of you. This way is sly but it works. I did this exact thing and it turned out he did really like me. I then told my friend it was ok to then tell him i felt the same way. From here we got talking ALOT more and ended up meeting up and going out. You sometimes have to make the first move. Boys can be shy. I know its hard but if he just tells your friend he doesnt. End off. he doesnt know you like him so it saves the embarresment. Anyway im sure thats not the case. :)
